… well certainly not where holiday operators are concerned. According to the latest survey by consumer watchdog Which? the large tour operators including Cosmos, Thomas Cook and First Choice were at the bottom of the customer satisfaction table. While head of Thomas Cook UK expressed concerns in “finding these results difficult to accept” it doesn’t make happy reading for the major tour operators.

Great location, good weather, sandy beaches, fun pool complex… Bonne Anse Plage holiday park ticks all the right boxes for a great family holiday. There is no getting away from the fact that Bonne Anse is a large park with a lot of mobile home and tent pitches. However, because of a forest setting and an undulating ground it has the feel of a lot of smaller sites linked together rather than what could have been one overwhelming noisy site….

Some great news for those looking for family holiday parks in the UK… Eurocamp has announced that it plans to re-establish itself in the UK this year. The holiday parc operator has focussed its family holiday efforts in recent years on its European network, particularly in France, Spain and Italy.
However, with the effects of the recession being felt across the UK and British families increasingly looking for holidays closer to home, Eurocamp felt it was the perfect time to relaunch a UK holiday solution.
More details about this will be announced in the coming weeks but we are definitely hoping that they bring their full Eurocamp experience to the UK including the highly successful kids clubs, quality sites and on-site couriers, mobile homes and tents.
