"We stayed at the Thorness site on the Isle of Wight. Great location for visiting all sorts of places - Carisbrooke Castle was surprisingly good and only a few minutes drive, and we also had really good days out at Bembridge, The Needles and Alum Bay, Shanklin Chine and Ventnor. Great site for visitors with dogs as the beach to which you can walk from the site isn't restricted to non dog users in summer months, and there was a lovely Nature trail walk through the trees as well. Our caravan was small but clean and comfortable and we found a friendly dog friendly pub serving amazing food a short drive away in Shalfleet. 04/05/2011 05:12:06"
