"Me, my husband and our 3 year old daughter stayed at the Dovetail Lodge. It was a fabulous 2 storey modern log cabin. It had so much room and the log fire was lovely even though it was gas not a real log fire. But all in all it was a very nice log cabin. The hot tub was a great addition too! The cabin has a beautiful lake on the doorstep and in the mornings lots of ducks would come to the patio doors wanting fed! My daughter loved this and became routine. The only dissapointment i could say about the location is that it is very quiet with not alot for children and a park on site would have been brilliant. But we took her scooter and went for walks which was nice as the beach is a stone throw away. The local village is nice but still very quiet. But we would definitley return here, if you want a reliable and excellent service and clean modern accomodation then i would recommend Hornsea Lakeside Lodges there fabulous!     "Wonderful setting for a wonderful weekend, A real get away from it all which is what we wanted. The children played with kites and scooters as there was no danger as it was a gated holiday park. The privacy fence around the hot tub was great too as we could sit out without anyone else seeing us. 25/05/2011 05:06:33"
