"We had a great 4 day break in Ash Lodge. The views from the veranda were perfect and we were able to watch the sunset in the evenings. The River Ouse was only a couple of hundred yards away, perfect if you like short walks. The lodge was immaculately clean and the bedding looked new and was fresh. It was close to York but far away enough to feel secluded. We had a lovely family break and will be looking to go back again in summer.
