"Gwel An Mor was a true 5 star resort. From the standard and cleanliness of the accommodation to the service, it was absolutely first class. It is very rare to get this quality of accommodation in England. I travelled with my wife and two children. We used it as a base to explore Cornwall but what a gem of a resort. We used the following facilities there - the gym and the indoor heated swimming pool. There was a lot more to offer but we just didn't get the time as we spent quite a bit of time in other parts of Cornwall. The location of this resort is great. You have a view across the fields to the sea. We walked to the sea with our children and it took only 15 minutes. Portreath beach is great with rock pools and natural bathing pools to explore, not to mention the sandy beach for the kids to build castles. All in all, this holiday exceeded our expectations and we would recommend this resort to any families looking for quality accommodation in a great scenic and central location to explore Cornwall. 04/03/2011 05:04:21"
