"Peace and tranquillity on your doorstep with the most enjoyable walks to suit most people. Then the wonderful hustle and bustle of Whitby only a mile or so down the road (can also walk there over the viaduct - superb!) with its fine selection of places to eat to suit most pockets. Their history, beaches, boat trips, among so many other things await! We have been to Whitby many, many times, and will return many, many times in the future I hope! and would certainly rebook at Captain Cook's Haven simply because having had a great time in the hustle and bustle it was so good to relax in the beautiful surroundings in such a cosy cottage.
